cold saturday..

i woke up this morning without an alarm and fortunately enough i slept till a bit later than usual. after getting out of bed, i went straight to the kitchen to do some baking. haha! my second attempt of making scones and lucky me that it worked out really well this time. great achievement and it tastes really yummy with the strawberry jam that i bought from miss marple and also i made some cream to go with it. awesome feeling when i had the first bite.. but there's one little thing, i actually forgot to put sugar in it. haha! but it was all good.. ^_^

i didn't stop there though. i continued on to make some pies cause i bought the pastry before and didn't have time to make them during weekdays. and it went out pretty good as well. with the cold and wet weather outside, i ended up cancelling my plans to go to the city, and instead i made myself some nice lunch with dessert. haha! and also to mention that last week my dad and i made some satay chicken for dinner and it turned out to be super yummy! i think i'm a little inspired by masterchef lately. i'm enjoying cooking and learning making new yummy food. nice training huh?
