last night was dad's birthday and my family went for somewhere really far for dinner. it was at heilderberg, an authentic malaysian restaurant called jade kingdom. it took us about 30 mins to get home from city and another 40 mins to heilderberg. long long way.. but you know what, it was really worthwhile for the long journey. the food there was really yummy-licious. we ordered five dishes, which are kangkung belacan, assam fish, sizzling tofu, yam ring with kung po chicken, and also buttered prawn. massive meal for just five of us.. haha! greedy us. but the food was just so authentic, and the serving was very generous. of course we ended our dinner with delicious ice kacang. two thumbs up for the restaurant! with the sizzling tofu, i seriously couldn't find it anywhere else, it was awesome and of course also to mention about the assam fish! i'll definately going back to try out other stuff, like their bah kut teh. hehe.. well after being here for so long, we really miss malaysian authentic food, so to be able to find a place with such good one, it's definately a good news for us. we enjoyed the dinner.
