An article i read..

well i'm gonna have a few weeks leave from work cause apparently it's their quiet period and hence no job to do! so i got to stay at home... but i'm getting bored at home! oh wells i might as well make full use of the time so i ended up doing laundry, reading articles from the web, facebook-ing, cooking, job search and bla bla bla.. i made tiramisu too! will post some photos later..^^

as everyone can see, the aussie economy is going on recession and there's lots of unemployed and the figures are going up! i just read one article saying that the number of ads posting up in the net and other sources had been gone down and it was record lowest for Feb.. and it might not be the worst yet.. fingers cross! well just when i'm doing my job search and reading such article, how encouraging is that! hahahaha..

then i came across to another article which tells us how to save money..

1. take lunch to work. well i definately think that this is really true! when i started work in the city i tend to eat out alot..cos there's just too many temptations around the place! hahaha.. there's heaps of restaurants and cafes.. and ended up i didn't save much! given that my salary also very low... so bring lunch! :P
2. quit smoking! how much ppl pay for getting cigarettes.. obviously it used up all your money.
3. don't be late. well ppl tend to forget datelines of bills and everything, therefore they got fine. i tried that before too..opsss! so always remind urself of ur bills due dates..
4. don't get fined. alot of the aussies don't really care with speeding or whatever and lead to getting fines... i don't have that problem tho.. haha! but that's the reason i always get my train tickets no matter what.
5. another one is alcohol. well consider the amount of ppl go for clubbing during weekend or maybe drinking session at home or maybe getting an expensive bottle of champagne.. they are really expensive! but adding all the money, maybe can get an air ticket? lol..
6. don't go on holiday when u don't actually have the money. well i don't think this applies to me cause obviously i only go on trips when i actually have that money. i earned and saved my own money for two years plus to go back malaysia

so have an idea how to save up money? i need to save up money at the moment. going to sydney during easter break. i better get back in my sydney research.. :P
