Improve your lifestyle..

well when i was browsing through the net today, i came across with an article by michelle bridges about 5 easy lifestyle changes. just in case u don't know, michelle is one of the trainer for the biggest loser and also the adidas ambassador. she's pretty and fit! haha. oh wells, just wanna share about the 5 easy way to get healthy and fit. well i've had quite bad breakouts for my skin problem so i'm trying my best to control my diet too lately. .
the 5 easy ways are:
  1. have a self assessment in front of the mirror. check with your body, stand on the weighing scale and have a look at your weight. and also check on some questions like am i happy with my own physical appearance? what is your alcohol consumption and etc. when you get to know them well, it gives you a better vision on how to improve your health.
  2. the next thing is just to grow up! we can't live always like a university student who mainly eats pizza, pasta, drinking coke and always stay out at places that you think would make you look cool. we just have to take control of ourselves and do what's best for our health.
  3. unclutter your life which means start from your kitchen. well if your kitchen or office is full of crap, then you can rest assured that they will all ended up at your butt. haha! well i'm a junkie person too, so that's quite a hard one for me. but i've stopped eating potato chips for at least one month already. so the kitchen is the control base for your weights, your moods, your sleep patterns ( i wonder what food can help in sleep, i had sleeping problems before), your energy levels and all those that makes you a happy and healthy life.
  4. the shopping lists. well that's an easy one. always remember to get more greens and fruits and also grains in your cupboard and fridge. and cut out the frozen food and stuff that is pre-made. as long as those bad stuffs are not in your kitchen, means you won't have the tendency to eat them. so i guess that works. get more fruits and vegies pls! =P
  5. lastly is to look at your routine. you have to be healthy urself before you're able to look after your loved ones. well that's for me, always find time to workout.
