well i've been busy at work, today just started working at the reception and there are so many things to learn and one of the thing is time management, cause all of the time things just piled up in front of you and seriously i kinda get lost.. haha! i'm still trying my best to absorb as much as i could and as quickly as i could. fingers cross that i do well..
during last weekend, i had a rather eventful one.on friday night, i went back home for dinner as usual.. but i went out for drinks and pancake with my friends at heilderberg, which is around half an hour away from my house. we drove such long way for a well known pancake house, called the stockers. well the environment of the place was rather small, warm, old fashioned, yet very cosy place. very homey feel i suppose. i tried the rum banana pancake. in fact it's more like crepes. it was alright, not too special i should say and a bit pricy.. i miss pancake on the rocks in sydney! haha..however, it's a nice place for chilling out with friends for a weekend night.
on saturday i went to williamstown with a group of friends. it's a small town which is about 15 mins away from the city by car. firstly we headed to the science works musuem. it's an interesting place. to be honest, i've never been to a science museum before. hahaha! good place for kids to learn some interesting science thingy.. there is also a planetarium, and also it was my first time. it's really nice inside, they were introducing the stars according to the oboriginals, so it was something that we don't really know, cause the common ones are the european stars like gemini, leo, cancer and so on.. but it was still an interesting experience. after our time in the museum, we went to the town area and hunt for food. we were starving by then, and we had fish n chips! it was pretty good! after satisfying our tummies, we went to walk around the pier. there were so many ships and boats! i wish i could own one someday. haha! and at night, i went for movies, altho i was so tired.. i've watched star trek! and chris pine, one of the main actor, is so good looking! and he is an australian! haha! well the movie was pretty good, better than expected. cause i've never watched star wars or star trek series before.
on sunday night, i finally managed to find time for baking! i made curry puffs and dad also said that it was pretty good. happy mother's day, altho mum is not around to enjoy my results. maybe will re-make it when she's back.^^ well that's my short yet eventful weekend.
