well i had a super busy week. also busy during the weekend. at work, i was learning the receptionist work, assignments like helping a new company to register with ASIC, a government sector to apply for companies, applying for ABN and GST and so on, applying for trust, stamping trust deed at the state revenue office, dealing with more clients at the front desk. sounds all technical.. haha! but it was interesting to learn all of them.
after such hectic week, i was so looking forward to the weekend for some rest. however it's different when you have two friends having their birthdays. on friday night after work, i headed to myer to shop around and fyi, myer in the city had a massive renovation and it's all so luxurious and classy. with the cosmetics department, great lightings and new modern look. and even better is that they are having the mid year sale! really tempting place to shop. haha! tempting but i have even greater mission. come back to that in a while. anyway after that i was waiting outside of myer to meet up with some friends that were going for dinner together. i was sitting at the bench with a guy next to me. and the next thing i realised he was having an argument with his girlfriend who was late for their date. i know it's not nice to eavesdrop on other ppl's conversation but i was sitting there. so i overheard their argument. both of them were indians, so they did use their language to argue but also in english. then this guy was complaining how he waited for her and he even complained over small things and how he had changed since he got together with her and so on. and the gal was also arguing and defending herself about the issues. well at some point, i almost wanna stood up and tell them to chill down. haha! of course i didn't do so.. but it was kinda sad to see how they argue and stuff. i would have to say it's never nice to argue with your beloved ppl around you, no matter for whatever reason it is, altho i have to admit that i do so too. ^^ so the moral of the story is that we should calm down ourselves to think before starting an argument with your loved ones.
anyway back to my dinner, haha! i met up with my friends and we went to federation square for a restaurant called feddish. the design of the restaurant was pretty nice, cosy and with warm lightings, not too bright and just a nice place to catch up with a few friends and have some nice food. however, the restaurant is famous of having slow service. hmm.. not so good as we were all starving by then. luckily i did manage to eat a sushi before that. i ordered a grilled fish of the day which was marlin and with salad. not too big serve, so i was probably only around 60% full. haha! but the taste itself was pretty good, with the moisture and sourness of the salad. my friends ordered others like salmon, lamb shanks, linguine, pizza and chicken. not many choices on their menus, but i would assume they are looking on quality more than quantity. overall, it was quite a nice place to try out except would be great if they could have quick service. after dinner we headed home to have shower before heading to friend place to cut cake at midnight. it was a tiring day for me.
on saturday i had some time to chill out at home, but sadly i woke up at 8.30am on a saturday morning! i had a dream that i was at work before i woke up and i couldn't get back to sleep. sigh.. so i did some washings and facebooking and bits and pieces of houseworks. haha! went out for dinner at springvale for another friend's birthday. then headed to sing k in the city for the whole night. huh! i have to say that i'm getting not used to staying up late. haha! below are photos of my grilled fish i had at feddish and the second one is the salmon that other friend had. looks yummy... ^_^
