a day out at brighton beach..

today is australia day and it's public holiday! enjoyed myself on this special public holiday. i went to brighton beach and also hampton beach for bbq with a few friends. it's sort of a tradition for australians to have bbqs on australia day. not sure for what reason is that. we reached the bbq place early, around 10.30am. so it was rather quiet at that time. and off we started cooking sausages, lamb cutlets, prawn kebabs, chicken wings, and bread with onions. they all tasted really delicious cause they were marinated overnight. awesome!

by noon time, there were alot of people around the place! and it was getting hot as well. we were all full and satisfied. later we went for a walk along the beach and hang around there for a while. just sitting there, enjoying the moment, relaxing, chit chatting, taking photos and having sun tanned too! surprisingly i was all tired when i got home and actually fell asleep for two hours! i had a great day. happy australia day!
